The Alchemy of Grief

Service Description

An all-inclusive, community-centered group that fosters support and connection through individual and collective grief. We hold grief as a sacred practice of daily life, and as a gateway to the heart and greater joy. Our intention in this space is to first awaken the energy of the body and our experiences and to then move and transform it. This donation-based group will bring in a variety of modalities including but not limited to: gentle somatic movement practices, community ritual, meditation, writing, and circle sharing. There will be an altar space with an option to bring an item that symbolizes your current experience or journey with grief. Tea will be provided along with blankets, bolsters, and mats. Please bring a journal, pen, and water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. Sunday, September 22nd from 4-6pm Led by Amanda Hofacker & Alexa Heim
