Service Description
We have all heard the adage “you are what you eat” but we may not have thought of this in depth. What we eat literally becomes our bodies, yes, but it also becomes the material which makes up our mental and emotional selves as well. In this workshop, Dr. Wagner aims to show you the connection between food and feelings in order to equip and empower you to make powerful changes to your life by simply altering some of the food you eat. Dr. Wagner will introduce the all too important but often unknown role that the immune system plays in deciding how the body reacts to the foods in our body starting with mental and emotional reactivity. Using principles from the Blood Type Diet and the science of Live Blood Analysis, this connection can be clearly seen in our physiology and emotional health. Different blood types, body types, metabolic types and constitutional types will be touched on in order to highlight the unique needs of our unique bodies. Using the Naturopathic philosophy of the progression of disease, we will learn how there is always an underlying mental and emotional component to all physical expressions of the body. In addition, this class will cover the relationship between our organs as the houses of our emotions in accordance with Traditional Chinese Medicine. When we are able to learn these deep truths of our bodies and beings, we can begin to bring ourselves into better balance so we can live our lives with greater vibrance and vitality. Dr. Candice is a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Naturopath who currently lives in the lower mitten while she plants seeds in the upper mitten! In addition to health consultations she focuses on the manual therapies of Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Energy Therapy to help her clients. But she believes her main job is to educate and empower people to make the changes they want in order to heal themselves. For more information visit her website vibrantlight.org. While she visits and teaches in Marquette, Dr. Wagner is delighted to offer private appointments in order to better serve to the locals! Dr. Wagner will be available Oct 4, 5, and 6 for private sessions for health and nutrition consultations or Craniosacral Therapy. Visit vibrantlight.org to schedule a private appointment and receive a discount for your first session!
