Community Yoga
Service Description
Community Yoga is inspired by the blossoming potential that lives within all of us. This class is designed to nurture growth for both student and teacher. Community Yoga teachers have recently completed their yoga teacher trainings and are in the process of developing their unique teaching style. Classes are on a donation basis. Join us! September instructors are Mary Predl (Sept 17th, Oct 1, 15, 29) and Jacob Studinger (Sept 24th, Oct 8, 22). Jacob has practiced many styles of yoga on and off for many years as well as yogic philosophy and meditation practices. In his classes, Jacob will be having students holding postures for 3-5 full breaths before moving into the next posture. He will also be focusing on making sure his students are safe by focusing on proper body alignment vs trying to look picture perfect through helping students find what works best for their bodies by modifying postures and using props when needed. For Jacob, yoga is a mind/body/spirit practice that brings us back into Being by teaching us to accept our bodies and our limitations and to bring us back into harmony as a whole. Mary recently graduated with her RYT 200 from the Pinecone Yoga Institute. As she explores her teaching style she is emphasizing inclusive and adaptive practices that are accessible for all. With every practice she will offer pathways to compassionately connect with your inner self through breathwork, movement, and rest.
