Service Description

Community Yoga is inspired by the blossoming potential that lives within all of us. This class is designed to nurture growth for both student and teacher. Community Yoga classes are taught by various instructors and are intended to be accessible for all levels. Classes are on a donation basis. Join us! May 12th; Katie May 19th; Gabi May 26th; Katie All of June: Nicole Nicole Sheree's teaching style is grounded, approachable, and rooted in the belief that yoga should help people feel more connected to themselves. Nicole wants yoga to be welcoming, not intimidating. She teaches locally at the Marquette Senior Center and has collaborated with organizations including the Hiawatha Music Festival, the Marquette Food Co-op, Barrel + Beam, and the Marquette Figure Skating Club, while also leading pop-up classes, workshops, and retreats around the country. Born and raised in Manistique, Nicole has called Marquette home since 2020. Over the past decade, her love of movement, travel, and people have taken her around the world to study yoga, meditation, somatics, and breathwork. From New Zealand and Costa Rica to retreat communities in Portugal, South America, and India. In 2018, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through the Holistic Yoga School in Estes Park, Colorado. Katie O'Brien began her yoga journey in 2013, and it was love at first practice! She attained her 200-RYT® Certification after completing the Pinecone Yoga Institute's Nature-based Yoga and Meditation TeacherTM training program. She has since completed the 75-hour Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide-Level 1 Certification (2024) and Devi Daly 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Certification (2025). Her offerings include hatha, vinyasa, restorative, yin, and nature immersion, with nature-based themes, mindfulness practices, and inclusive language woven throughout. Katie is currently enrolled in the YogaRenew 300-hour Yoga Teacher training program and is working towards her 500-RYT® certification. Gabi Hagen completed her yoga teacher training and became an RYT 200 in February of 2018. Since then, she has completed her RYT 500 in October 2023. She has been teaching a variety of classes such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, and Kids Yoga. Her classes focus on functional movement with the breath and ensuring the practice is accessible to everyone. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and camping.

Cancellation Policy

For no-shows and cancellations, if paid with class pack, class credit will be returned and if paid with card or paypal, full refund minus processing fees.
