
Flowing Body, Quiet Mind Yoga
Service Description
In this Yoga class, Jacob will guide students through a Vinyasa/Hatha inspired flow. After centering and some warm ups, we will then move through a series of Sun Salutations. After you are sufficiently warmed up, we work through a series of poses that will challenge our endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility. While going through these postures, Jacob will be guiding and supporting every person so that they feel confident with the practice. Since this part of class may be more challenging, we will take our time adding modifications and support as needed. Throughout, Jacob will be guiding you to return to breath and body to calm the mind and you will start to develop equanimity. Each class will end with a cool down and Savasana. It is Jacob’s hope that by providing these challenges in a safe and supportive way, that you will gain confidence in your own practice and to help build equanimity in all parts of your life. Throughout this class, Jacob will mostly be guiding through verbal cues so he can make sure each student is safe in each posture and in proper alignment (based on their own unique anatomical build). He will do gentle hands-on adjustments (with permission) if necessary. All are welcome. Jacob Studinger is a 500hr Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Classical Hatha, Iyengar-inspired Vinyasa, and has specialty training and certification in Yin Yoga.

For no-shows and cancellations, if paid with class pack, class credit will be returned and if paid with card or paypal, full refund minus processing fees.
