Service Description
Introduction to Contact Improvisation Dance will be a workshop held to introduce those with little to no dance experience to this exciting and fun form of self expression! This workshop will focus on teaching beginners some of the foundational movements and basic pillars of the practice, including contact, weight sharing, and intuitive movement. We'll introduce the culture and etiquette of radical consent so that everyone can safely and comfortably enjoy and explore these movements together. Come drop in and learn about the playful improviser inside you! Experienced and inexperienced dancers and students from all backgrounds are also encouraged to attend! Cancellation Policy
For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. "No shows": Staff will attempt to contact client using the email/phone number provided. If a client is not contactable the appointment will be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
