Service Description
In essence, this is a holistic approach to fitness to improve strength and coordination using mindful movement through bodyweight. This class will also use bands and ankle weights while aiming to target upper & lower body plus the core. My name is Amber Blanck and I am a proud mom of three wonderful boys. I grew up in Gwinn, MI, (land of the lakes) and loved all things active. In time, once I moved to Marquette, I found movement to be my happy place. I attended many group fitness classes and had the inspiration to teach from several fantastic women. At nineteen, I trained to lead my own group exercise classes and have only paused for brief moments since. To note, while attending NMU for a Community Health degree, I assisted in a wellness program at NMU and was the lead instructor for employees/faculty around campus to "get moving." We used small office spaces, a mat, body weight and hand weights. I saw substantial improvement in so many lives it was, to say the least, wonderful. Currently, I am a certified Les Mills instructor (Body Pump & Body Step); however, for the second half of life, I'd love to bring back the mat like we did in those office spaces. So, I found a new passion like so many others--Pilates. There is a wave happening and I can understand why. I hope to see you on the mat.

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. "No shows": Staff will attempt to contact client using the email/phone number provided. If a client is not contactable the appointment will be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
