Service Description

Sivananda yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda. It is a traditional, exact, and easy to learn style of yoga that aims to create a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Sivananda yoga focuses on proper alignment, breath, and maintaining mindfulness and steady breathing through each asana. This class includes a traditional sun salutation to warm the body, some gentle inversions, and a variety of poses meant to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, and improve circulation. Kalil’s class is both playful, vigorous, and relaxing. Kalil Zender received her yoga teacher training from the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas. She has been teaching yoga and martial arts for twelve years.
