Service Description
UP Mama Village is a space for all women and people in the UP who are within the birthing continuum (pre-conception, pregnancy, birthing, pregnancy/infant loss, and postpartum). This space holds deep value and affirmation for all stories of mother/parenthood, and recognizes the need for a village to hold us in our stories as we hold our own families. UP Mama Village offers a monthly circle where people are welcomed in with support and validation. There is an in-person gathering at Be Well (babies of all ages warmly welcomed) monthly along with a virtual option as well. Suggested donation: $10/month. If you are unable to donate, that is ok. This group is facilitated by Doulas of Marquette. We are a group of doulas, educators, and most of all, parents, who have supported hundreds of UP families since we began in 2010. You don’t have to be a past/current client or have an intention to become a client in order to attend. All are welcome! Upcoming session: May 13th at 5:30pm
